When the entire room’s dark and you stick a flash somewhere nearby, people are never really sure when a photo’s going to be taken - losing some of their self-conscious thoughts which really lifts portraits (getting them drunk helps too). The light’s not the greatest here because it’s just the one flash in the dark but the moment’s an interesting one.

Excerpts from the introduction to a (currently untitled) short film have been added over at the video section of knitted biscuits. The idea was a simple one of establishing the setting of the character in front of the bathroom mirror while keeping it quite brief.
